Post bridal is quickly becoming one of my favorite photography genres … everybody is still glowing from the wedding excitement, but everybody is completely relaxed!  It is a great way to get some fabulous images of the bride and groom just enjoying each other when the time pressure of the wedding day is off.  I met Katrina and Taurean two days after their May 26 wedding, after the Memorial Day crowd had left the city.  We spent the afternoon walking the French Quarter with them in their wedding clothes.  It is pretty common for people to shout out congratulations to brides and grooms as you walk them through the Quarter, some stop to snap an iPhone photo, but on this particular day, the enthusiasm of the crowd at Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop just cracked us up!  Congratulations Katrina and Taurean!  Wishing you many, many years of wedded bliss!
